Cluttercore. A colourful collection of memories, colours, patterns and designs, that together form a personal style.

Our interior isn't about what's trendy or good taste, but solely what we think is worth displaying and about personal items that we've have collected over the years.

books, blankets & boucherouites

books, blankets & boucherouites

The vintage locker, we bought in 2012, has already been a storage place for many stuff.

Since my entire wool stock has moved to my studio, nowadays there are mainly interior and art books in the middle, paperwork on the right and lots of stuff on the left. The middle one is neat, the others are a mess 🙈

The left compartment needs to be cleaned up and sorted out. I don't feel like it nonetheless, because I know I'm not good at cleaning up long-kept personal items at all. First I take everything out, then the entire room is a mess and in the end 90% of the stuff, will go back inside.

I have to wait until I am in a mood. I'm waiting for spring...

For now I wish you'll a nice weekend!

geoffrey harcourt F154

geoffrey harcourt f154

Another Harcourt in da house!

Not necessary at all, but irresistible.
Found on Saturday afternoon at 5 minutes before closing time in a vintage store in Rotterdam.

Geoffrey Harcourt F154 by Artifort.

Design year 1967.

A luxury chocolate brown leather chair for day-dreaming. It's a swivel armchair with a coated chromium five-legged base.

Geoffrey D. Harcourt (1935) trained at the Royal College of Art in London. In 1962, he designed his first series of small office fauteuils for Artifort. His designs introduced Artifort to the international market for contract design. In the beginning, Harcourt designed mostly seats for reception areas. His first design for Artifort, the 042 series in 1963, was an immediate international success. His philosophy is that the chair should focus on the person and not the other way around. “First the person, then the chair.” Harcourt has won many prizes and in 1978 was awarded the title of "Royal Designer for Industry".

In the store I was convinced immediately, this had to be a Geoffrey Harcourt, and after investigation it turned out to be a family member of our other leather swivel chair, the F978 from 1968.

seeds signs

wood & word sign [seeds]seed signsseed signsseed sign

We have been busy in the backyard lately, which means we have a brandnew lawn and more space for a flower garden.

I've sown lots of flower seeds on the sunny side of the garden yesterday. This year I picked Cosmos (pink, white and orange), Zinnias (multicolored, striped and large) and Tagates (African Marigold) and I've made some wooden seeds signs to mark their spot.

The Hollyhocks and Lathyrus have survived the mild winter and are growing fast, the Sweet Peas are already blooming.

Well the sun is shining today, which is of course a good circumstance for growing flower seeds.

Fingers crossed for a beautiful colorful flower field and sunny summer!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas time...

We survived Christmas. Despite flu and intense cold.
The Christmas tree has moved outside and the magnetic pompons are sticking to the locker.

X-mas rehab...

Basic baby cardigans in natural colors. They are tough and sweet at the same time.
The wee cardigans you can find in my Etsy shop, except for the handmade cardigan in the last picture, that's mine.

Today is perfect cardigan weather, time for a Sunday autumn walk.
