Another unique handmade piece!

For the stool legs I used different types of scrap wood, both sides have a different look.
On one side is pastel green and on the other side is made of pale grey wood.
The white crochet cover I've made with moroccan yarn.

berlin - kreuzberg

On the fourth and final day of our city break in Berlin, we explored Kreuzberg and celebrated my birthday with chocolate cake in the morning and portugese pastel de nata in the afternoon. We toasted with beer & apple cider at the riverside bar Pampa, along the Spree. Berlin is a perfect place for a birthday party; [ich liebe mein leben]

The stool cover I've made with 100% wool, hand-dyed in South Africa.
It's a beautiful pastel colour, pale khaki by [i love yarn ♥], Cornel brought for me from South Africa last October.

I've made the same cover as I have made recently for Emily Chalmers.

lilac lathyrus

Sweet scented sweet peas.
They do not come from our own garden, but I got those lilac lathyrus from my son Minne.

June is my favorite month. In terms of enjoying nature.
Long lasting days, every day new discoveries in the garden.
I love that early summer feeling. This is certainly one of them;

Soaking up the fragance of freshly picked sweet peas.

Sweet summer flowers. We need it. Since our return from the sunny south, summer in the Netherlands is not what we were hoping for.
I guess we can all use a ray of French Summer...

Summer is coming!

To celebrate summer, I made a pastel cotton ---S-U-M-M-E-R-G-A-R-L-A-N-D---.
I love summer! Days get longer, hair gets lighter, fruits get sweeter and life gets better!

Bye the way; the round 'target' pillow is the other side of the 'eight wedges' pillow!
