The wood & wool bikini top I posted recently was made with 3 colours and wooden rings. I received a lot of questions about the pattern. I've made it years ago without a pattern. I've worked out the step by step process with lots of detailed photos (18 pages) of this new crochet bikini top. Last week I've made this bikini top with organic hand dyed cotton from South Africa. Could not find the wooden rings anywhere, so I made this one without. In the pattern you can find how to make it with or without wooden rings.

All you need is 50 grams of crochet cotton to make your summer bikini top! Choose your favorite colour and get started.

It's not difficult at all and it takes just one day to make it.

On my search to summer clothes on the attic, I found my handmade crochet halter top again. Made this one in 2006 and haven't been wearing it eversince.

Now all of a sudden this crochet bikini top is so 2016!

wooly winter wear

Winter has begun. At long last.
Today was the first cold day in the Netherlands.
No snow in our hometown yet, but certainly cold enough to wear warm woolen mittens & beanie.
Let it freeze... (for several weeks)

I love huge knitted sweaters!
I've been 'living' in my first knitted sweater dress, so I've knitted another one in black.

With quite some crochet side projects, it took me some weeks to knit it.
When you just focus on knitting the sweater dress, it's actually a piece of cake!

Currently I'm knitting another sweater dress.

I like to wear my first k n i t t e d sweater dress daily, it's my uniform.

It has become quite obvious to me, that I need a black version too.

Online I've seen cool versions of my KNITTED SWEATER DRESS PATTERN in grey and striped.

I've started quite a while ago and had some crochet side projects in the meantime.

It's quite an easy project, but the thing is I'm most in my element with one hook instead of two needles.

So my challenge is to finish the black dress, before I start something new...

Een heerlijke midi rok voor de herfst en winter!

Het nederlandse PATROON van de wood & wool midi rok is nu verkrijgbaar in mijn Etsy shop.

In 2008 ontwierp ik een gestreepte midi rok. De rok werd bijna net zo populair als de laarzen.
