The yarns we brought from Marrakech last April.
Now they finally have a dignified place and color the room!
Until that time they were waiting...
It was only a small job (piece of cake) Why it took so long? I wouldn't know.
The colors look smashing on the homemade coat rack!

iron floor
We booked a room in the former water reservoir.
The typical iron bottom of the water basin is still visible and touchable [watch your toes!]
The hotel room has surprising details, like a staircase to the bathroom on the lower floor.
Bathing in the tub, you can play with your yellow bath duck or looking out across the rivers of Dordrecht [through the charming round window].
We had a delicious dinner, slept wonderfully and enjoyed every minute! And yes, you can have that real 'weekend break feeling' in your domicile.

californian baby
I'm curious what cute californian baby clothes will hang on those hangers.
This colorful set is a maternity gift for a newborn baby in California. How sweet is that?

measuring tape
Last week at Piet Hein Eek, we scored a vintage stool [seems my innate habit].
With some measuring tape around [the red makes it], it's the umpteenth cute coffee table in tha house.

saturday in dordrecht
An 'ordinary' Saturday.
After a day of work in the market at Villa Augustus, my love picked me up by bike.
Together we visited Lammie in her shop (Lammie Verkoopt) and the rooftop of umbrellas in the Vriesestraat.
At the bookstore I bought the new magazine MilK decoration and I'm going to read it now (with my feet on the sofa...)

radio royaal
Today we had lunch at Radio Royaal in Eindhoven. (around the corner at Piet Hein Eek)
What was once an old Philips energy house, is now a restaurant.
Flooded with daylight and unpolished industrial design.
We were pleasantly surprised by the purity.
Here's a visual Radio Royaal report.
