New in the shop: a brandnew piece.

It has been a while since I've made a woodwoolstool.
This weekend I finally got started with wood and made a new stool.
For the stool legs I used different types of scrap wood, both sides have a different look.
On one side is pastel pink and on the other side is made of wood with vintage wallpaper.
It's all in the details...
The white crochet cover I've made some months ago with moroccan yarn.

So you can find another WOODWOOLSTOOL in the shop, ultimately, it was about time.

house of plants

More green.

The [house of plants] is the newest book in our 'green books' collection.
It's a gift from my niece Afra from London. We share our passion for plants :-)

One of the other books, [evergreen] was send to me by Eimear from Ireland. She's one of the Cool Crochet participants in April last year and will join us again on the Green Gardens workshop in Marrakech in May.

crochet-climb a palm tree

Love my job!

I'm working on some brandnew crochet projects for the COOL CROCHET WORKSHOP in May.
Since some of the participants already joined us during the previous workshops and I love to work on new crochet projects anyway.
Inspired by the PINEAPPLE PATTERN I've designed some years ago, I would love to blend in the green theme into the Cool Crochet workshop.
I'm using my endless spools of cotton and wool from Marrakech.
It's not easy to work with 3 different colours in a row, but I like a challenge.

Because we work on a different project every workshop day, it had to be a small project.
So I've worked out a cute palmtree. I might sew on the back of my denim jacket or it will be a mini wall hanging?

Yesterday I started to draw the pattern on paper and made a start with the tree trunk and now I slowly 'crochet-climb' up to the palm leaves!

My workspace is featured in the new S T U D I O book by author Sally Coulthard, published by Jacqui Small.
