Furadouro - Friday 19th of June - day 1 of our roadtrip 2020

We booked our roadtrip in portugal in November last year, not knowing by far that it would not be so obvious to actually go on holiday this summer.
After our previous trips through Portugal, last year we were looking for new, unknown places to stay. We booked this super cute authentic house in the village of Fouradoura. (Coincidentally all places we booked, were completely 'travel safe proof'. Private places with a garden, so we could be completely on our own.)

As a matter of fact, we did not expect to fly to Portugal until early June. Actually I only dared to look forward to this trip, once I was factually on the plane.

We flew to Porto, rented a car at the airport and drove to Furadoura. The small, colorful 'back in the seventies' village at the Atlantic coast is bordered by a dense pine forest is located about 3 km from Ovar.

The arrival at our cute and spacious white & blue typical Portuguese house, the sun and the waves in the background were already promising!
