We're gonna dream in full color and sleep like in a 5-star hotel in our brand new Suite 702 bedding.

The name SUITE702 is a nod to the famous Bed-In by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. In 1969, during their honeymoon, they spent a whole week in bed, in Suite 702 of the Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam South. John and Yoko's Bed-In was all about World Peace. In this hectic world of always on, just like John Lenon and Yoko Ono, we should log out more often.

Let's stay in bed for a whole week!

I've been working on twinning diagonal striped pillows with blue & turquoise and green & turquoise yarn from Marrakech.

I started the 'side projects' in June and it has taken quite a while to finish the diagonal duo!

Look! It's about looking and seeing, hearing and listening. It's about fascination, about collecting, about the importance of beauty around you: in language, color, letters, poetry, pictures, things, small things.
An ode to the days, weeks, months. To the seasons. Where is it more visible than in a garden? In the garden of Villa Augustus. Vegetables, fruit, lots of flowers. The bees in the orchard. Obviously the agenda is not ready. There are no appointments, no secret names, no meetings to fairytale locations in moonlight.

Een ode aan de dagen, weken, maanden. Aan de seizoenen. Waar is het meer zichtbaar dan in een tuin? In de tuin van Villa Augustus. Groenten, fruit, heel veel bloemen. De bijen in de boomgaard. Vanzelfsprekend is de agenda niet af. Er staan nog geen afspraken in, geen geheime namen, geen ontmoetingen op sprookjesachtige locaties in maanlicht.

The moroccan wool we took home from Marrakech a few years ago, was too good to be used right away.
The four colorful strands were hanging next to each other on a peg all this time.
I have prepared two strands yesterday, with assistance from the Bertoia.
They are 'crochet proof' and I will make something special out of that colored splendor now.

To be more precise it was Tangerine Tango according to Pantone.
Well it has been my favorite color for quite some years (especially in the interior) and I will stick to it for some time...

The color of 2013 is Emerald.
