April 22, day 1 in Marrakech;

♦ enjoying the roof of Menara airport, while waiting for the taxi
♦ hugging Ank and the sweet staff at Chambres d'Amis
♦ having a warm welcome in the riad with verbena tea and Moroccan cookies
♦ unpacking suitcases and taking a rest at my friend Ank's beautiful home
♦ buying wool in the souk for the Cool Crochet Workshop
♦ strolling through the Medina
♦ looking forward to the arrival of the workshop participants tomorrow...

The cool crochet workshop was an unforgettable experience.
We went 'crochetting' on the most wonderful places in and around Marrakech.
We were with a group of very special and incredibly lovely people from all over the world.
Thanks my beloved crocheteers (including Anke) for this amazing adventure.

The pineapple table lamp we brought from a trip to Ghent some weeks ago and the coasters are from Anthropologie in London.

We had a lovely Easter Sunday with family today!

With my sweet sister Marjan from Nairobi and her daughters Afra & Safi we strolled through the historical center of Dordrecht.

We ended the day with a traditional tajine family dinner!
