marrakech vibes
This weekend I'm off to Marrakech again. For the fourth time this year...
I'm always happy to return to the Red City.
Next Wednesday we will kick off with a new Cool Crochet workshop in Marrakech. Sophie will join us for the second time.
One week later the second Green Gardens workshop is on the program.
No less than four former participants of the cool crochet workshop, will now join the Green Gardens workshop.
Yay, so nice to see you again Marielle, Ellen Debbie & Tif!
Even though I have just returned from Portugal, I can hardly wait to start with the workshop preparations and meet everyone at Chambres d'Amis.

summer finds
Summer finds.
Some new items in da house. Souvenirs for our 'casa'.
On the wall, next to the new library table*, a colorful crab and lobster creel, seems almost like crochet, don't you think?
On the other wall a poster from the art book Nus Vestidos (Not So Nude). we found in the most beautiful bookshop Ler Devagar at the LX Factory in Lisbon.
The drawing was made with only a blue, green and red Bic cristal ballpoint.
The drawing is inspired on La Grande Odalisque, the painting by Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres from 1814 (Musée du Louvre, Paris).
We also bought the small art book Nus Vestidos with a collection of drawings of thirteen well-known masterpieces.
* on the desk in the living room, the art-, interior and 'green' books and interior magazines are piled up now. Since I hardly ever work at my desk in the living room, but at the kitchen table.

roadtrip portugal - lisboa - architecture, street art & tiles
<
Lisboa
Architecture, street art & tiles.
Walking for hours through the neighborhoods of Lisbon, especially in the non-touristic neighborhoods...
New discoveries around every corner. Amazing architecture, stunning street art and a tremendous amount of tiles.
At the end of the afternoon with a drink in a deck chair at the Tejo, makes the day perfect!
This was the last Portugal roadtrip post, up to daily routine and new adventures in Marrakech...

roadtrip portugal - lisboa by bike
Lisboa by bike.
Son Minne came to visit us for a few days in Lisbon.
We hired a bike and made a bicycle tour along the Tejo, visited MAAT, Belém, LX factory and had lunch at Cantina.
Minne had a few vintage football stadiums on his list. We cycled over 35 kilometers and discovered many new interesting places in Lisbon.
The cycle paths along the river are perfect and it's a great way to see a lot in one day.
We went Sunday, there is less traffic in the city (on the other hand more cyclists...)
