old school
A wonderful old school building in my hometown is being transformed into apartments.
The sad thing is, they will be building way too many apartments, which ruines the whole atmosphere.
Last Saturday we were daydreaming about 'our new residence' in for example two of those huge and high classrooms, imagine the possibilities...
...the kitchen say in the middle of the room,
oh all that space and gigantic high ceilings,
bedrooms and bathroom in the room next door...
etcetera
We took pictures of the beautiful old details, had fun and fantasized a little bit.

winter weekday
Tuesday morning.
Sunshine in the kitchen.
So bright, you can almost see through the leaves of the plant.
The vintage egg basket is empty, because of the delicious omelette we had for breakfast.
Starting the day with sunshine, is so much more fun!

dress code: hodgepodge
I like to dress in layers and wear a hodgepodge of styles.
A tartan skirt, denim, stripes, woolen cardigan, multicolored beanie and boots with socks.
I don't care if it doesn't actually goes together.
Everything is possible, as long as you like it.

favorite winter fruit
I can easily eat four or five mandarins at one time and I'm not the type to peel off all the white stuff...
Guess I'm having a vitamine C addiction nowadays. My favorites are Maroc mandarins with the black harlequin logo.

publication little thing magazine
Publication Little Thing magazine issue 43 winter.
Little Thing is a cool Chinese magazine, about interior, fashion, illustration and inspiration.
Yesterday evening during dinner at the kitchen table with my family, I received Little Thing magazine all the way from China!
A publication on wood & wool stool in collaboration with Emily Chalmers, following the publication in November in the Autumn issue about Villa Augustus.
Anew it's super fun! and i still can not read a word, except for the names, which are not translated into Chinese...

harlequin hanger
This harlequin hanger I have made weeks ago for my friend Cornel from South Africa. I could not post the pictures, because she didn't had the chance to open the gift until yesterday.
At the moment I'm busy preparing the Cool Crochet Workshop in Marrakech in April.
The harlequin clothes hanger will be one of the new projects I've designed for the workshop.
There is still one room available for the workshop in April (October is fully booked), so if you want to join, please send an e-mail to info@woodwoolstool.com

wednesday winter woolday
Today I'm going to make a lot of tassels for the new stools I designed recently. I will be using the bobbins with bright hues, I brought from Marrakech.
Perfect project for this cold and rainy day, messing around with wool at the kitchen table.

24/24
24 hours in Rotterdam to celebrate love on our 24th wedding anniversary.
We stayed at CitizenM, in a bright room on the 3rd floor with a magnificant view.
We walked through the center of Rotterdam, had a very late lunch at Wester Paviljoen.
Toasted with mojito's and beers in the lobby of CitizenM.
This morning we started with a cappuccino at Cafe Pol and had breakfast at Memory Lane.
During breakfast we made a very cool plan, how to celebrate our 25th anniversary next year...
PS: thanks everyone for all the sweet wishes on Instragram yesterday.
