We walked the Blind walls gallery winter route.

cigales on the wall, artist on the sofa

Cigales on canvas.

After a week in my atelier both cigale paintings are ready. I think it's almost a pity they are finished, because I loved painting them.

Somehow I always stay close to my color palette.
Expressive colors combined with earthy tones give the paintings a summery atmosphere.

Yesterday evening we moved the xl cigales to the wall above the sofa. We are both very pleased with the new view!

Today our grandson Liam was with us and he started 'talking' to the big bugs, hahaha...

Liam-Novi after his afternoon nap in a Rotterdam filmfestival onesie.

Meanwhile 13 weeks old and he is spending a day with us every week when Pippa has to work.

He's already 'talking back' and making funny sounds. We love the days with Liam in da house.
